FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BERKLEY, MI - To raise additional funds, the Berkley High School Administration has brokered an agreement with an unnamed high-class dining services operation. In doing so, students will be presented with upscale eating options including selections from Morton's Steakhouse, Andiamo's, Fish Bones and others not available at press time. Part of the agreement, obtained by the Berkley Alumni Society, reveals plans for a conversion of the cafeteria to an after-hours, reservation only, dining establishment. Students will be available to wait tables in tuxedo attire. High school officials are hoping this new development will help offset a budget reduction while reintroducing the community to the school. Calls to administration officials were unreturned at press time.
Remember, today is April 1. Happy April Fool's Day!
(Now, wouldn't that make you want to return to the high school?!)
Don't forget, now is a perfect opportunity to contribute to the Alumni Society's textbook scholarship fund. We'll be awarding our fourth annual scholarship next month to a deserving high school senior. Visit the "Make a Donation" page after logging in for details on how to contribute online.
Go Bears!
