The Bears' Den Gets a New Look & Feel
Visitors to The Bears' Den may notice a change to the overall look and feel. The navigation has remained the same, yet other parts of the web site have been altered. Some areas of the site (including the events/reunion listing) have been unprotected from the pesky login, while others (such as the searchable database, message board and remembrance pages) remain behind authentication requirements. We've also enhanced the profile page and registration to allow for multiple affiliations with BHS. Do you know how many alumni are now faculty/staff at the high school? We bet there are a few!
For the time being, we've removed some areas such as the photo album and sites of interest. We'll add these areas back to the site when we find a better method to have them displayed and updated.
We hope you find these changes to your liking. As always, we appreciate and welcome your feedback.

Alumni Textbook Scholarship Awarded
The Berkley High School Alumni Society proudly awarded its fourth textbook scholarship to a deserving member of the class of 2006. This year's recipient, Adam Barth, will attend Michigan State University in the fall. During his years at BHS, Adam served two years as Marching Band Drum Major, was elected as National Honor Society Treasurer, secretary for Tri M (the music honor society) and president of Future Problem Solvers. In 2006, Adam was selected to be a participant in the Michigan Youth Arts Festival 2006 State Honors Band. Congratulations Adam!

Help Us, Help You, Help Berkley High School
Although the web site has been a great success, the BHS Alumni Society needs your help. Funding cuts in the school district have adversely effected our organization. Now, more than ever, we kindly request your financial assistance. While membership in the society is free, our costs are ongoing.
These expenses include:
Web hosting for http://www.berkleyalumni.org
Annual scholarship awarded to a graduating senior Social functions (summer picnic, etc.)
Imagine yourself as part of our success! Once or twice a year make a small contribution. Help insure the continued success of all the BHS Alumni Society does.
